Galatians 6:9 (NLT)

"So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up."

Feeling tired is expected after a hard day at work, taking care of the kids, managing a household, being a caregiver, attending school, or serving in ministry. With all the hats we wear daily, it's easy to become discouraged, especially when doing everything we can yet seeing nothing working in our favor.

There are seasons in the life of a believer when our faith is tested, and the easiest and fastest option seems to be throwing in the towel and walking away. But even when we feel like giving up, something deep within us simply won't let us. We find supernatural strength in our lowest moments, and somehow we keep pressing forward.

Staying persistent and motivated in discouraging times can be challenging, but time and again, we've proven that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. When you're doing what God has called you to do, He will sustain you and uphold you with his mighty right hand. Regardless of what's on your plate, it all matters to God.

Let's not forget that the Holy Spirit is our ever-present help in times of need. Often, we overlook the many benefits available to us as children of God. The Holy Spirit strengthens us to keep going when we feel tired of mundane tasks or discouraged by seeing little to no progress.

He also encourages us—sometimes through a song, sometimes through scripture—helping to redirect our focus back to Jesus. In everything we do, we ought to do it unto the glory of God.

In the end, God's timing is perfect. Everything you've labored and prayed over will yield a harvest of blessings. Giving up is not an option, but leaning into God is!

Psalm 71:15

“I will tell of Your goodness; all day long, I will speak of Your salvation.”

When is the right time to share the goodness of God? If you answered every opportunity, you’re right. Sharing the goodness of God and the good news that brought us salvation should be a priority for every believer.

Our testimony is not just about our victories—it’s about how we endured the tests and weathered the storm of life. Experiencing God’s goodness in difficult times must be shared, not only to ignite hope and build our own faith but so to encourage those around us. Our testimony isn’t just for our spiritual growth—it could be the key to someone else’s breakthrough.

Our attitude and actions during hard times can inspire others. When we walk in the Spirit and imitate Christ, we draw others in who are curious about our faith and strength in Jesus. This doesn’t mean we won’t face challenges or feel overwhelmed, but it reminds us that the Holy Spirit is with us—we’re never walking alone.

Every part of our testimony matters. Our willingness to share what God has done is vital in uplifting others in the body of Christ. When we overcome, we remind others that they, too, are overcomers. When we speak of His salvation, Gos is glorified. When we share the good news, lives are changed. When we tell our testimony, we give hope. Big or small, we all have powerful stories to share that proclaim: God is good!

Mark 11:22 ESV

And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.”

God has given each of us a measure of faith. With it, we’ve accomplished dreams, broken barriers, made history and changed lives. Faith is not just a concept- it’s a divine force that empowers us to rise above challenges when we place our confidence in Christ, who strengthens us.

Faith is powerful. And like a muscle, it grows the more we use it. When we choose to trust God in difficult seasons, we’re actively cultivating our faith. What may start as mustard-see faith can grow into something much greater as we remain rooted and steadfast in Him.

That’s why our faith must align with our prayers and prophetic declarations. Scripture tells us to prophesy in proportion to our faith (Romans 12:6). IF we desire to see change, we can’t approach prayer with doubt or hesitation. We must believe that God is able to do exceeding and abundantly more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Let your faith be built daily by focusing on the Word, declaring His promises, and trusting Him to move— even when you don’t see the evidence manifesting. Before you know it, it will come to pass.

Reflection:

What area of your life needs stronger faith today? What step can you take to trust God more fully in that area?

Prayer of Faith:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the measure of faith You’ve placed within me. I pray that it would grow stronger as I trust You more deeply with every area of my life. Help me to align my prayers with my faith and believe godly in what You can do. Remove doubt and fear from my heart, and replace them with confident trust in Your promises. I choose to stand on Your Word and believe for the impossible. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
