Psalm 121:2

"My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth."

"I am tired"—three words we have uttered more times than we’d like to admit. When we reach the end of our rope and need divine intervention, we have the privilege of going to our Father.

Sometimes, exhaustion overwhelms us, making us want to stop and throw in the towel. We grow weary—stressed at work, burdened by unexpected bills, drained by the demands of moody kids, an indifferent spouse, a fragile friendship or things going wrong and completely out of our control.

In these moments, we can turn to God because He is a present help. He gives us perspective and realigns our focus on what truly matters. We become exhausted when we rely solely on our own strength and abilities.

If you find yourself mentally, physically, or spiritually fatigued, take a moment to pause, assess, and ask for help before you cross over into exhaustion.

Reflection

What areas of your life are causing you the most exhaustion? Have you been trying to handle them on your own? What can you do differently today?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I come before You weary and burdened. Life’s demands feel overwhelming, and I confess that I have tried to carry them on my own. But You are my ever-present help, my refuge, and my source of strength. Lord, teach me to rely on You, to find rest in Your presence, and to trust that You will sustain me. Help me to surrender my worries and exhaustion to You, knowing that You are in control. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for the peace that comes from resting in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

2 Corinthians 5:7 – "For we walk by faith, not by sight."

Walking by faith doesn’t always mean stepping into something you prayed for. Sometimes, it means stepping into the unfamiliar and unexpected—paths you never envisioned for yourself. When we walk by faith, we choose to be led by the Holy Spirit, trusting where He leads us. We know His path for us is filled with purpose, shaping us with every step to reflect the image of Christ.

At times, what we desire may not be the right path, and God has to redirect us. This redirection can come in the form of closed doors—opportunities we hoped for, relationships we thought would last, or communities we longed to be a part of. But God doesn’t want us to focus on what we see for ourselves; He wants us to see, by faith, what He has planned for us.

Our lifestyle, career, and opportunities should all align with our purpose and calling as children of God. Anything that hinders, delays, or distracts from God’s vision for us will not last. As long as you remain submissive to His voice, you will not stay on a path that leads you away from His calling. You will hear His voice urging you toward a path that brings you into alignment with Him.

Remember, you are called to serve God and His people. Wherever He leads you, it will always serve that purpose.

Luke 12:24-26

"Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn, yet God feeds them. See how I have clothed the lilies of the field. How much more will he clothe you, you who have little faith! Do not worry about what you will eat or what you will drink, or what you will wear."

In this passage, we are encouraged to reflect on God's faithfulness as a reliable provider. By observing the world around us, we can see clear evidence of His provision.

God assures us that He will supply all our needs, so we should not worry about life's necessities. He is fully aware of what we need and promises to take care of us. We see His provision in many ways- through the food we eat, the beauty of nature that sustains life, and even the opportunities and resources He provides for daily living. He is faithful in providing jobs, relationships, and unexpected blessings that meet our needs.

God's provision can be seen through the kindness of others, the strength to endure challenges, and the wisdom to make the right choices. His faithfulness is evident in both the big and small aspects of our lives, reminding us that we are never forgotten.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your constant care and provision. You see every need in my life, and You promise to provide. Help me to trust in Your faithfulness and not to be consumed by worry. Open my eyes to see the ways You are working, and give me a heart full of gratitude. In Jesus' name, amen.
