"Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous..."

Psalm 5:12

There are so many things that we can point to in our life that we are grateful for. Often times we express our gratitude to God for the blessings that we see. Yet, there is so many other blessings that we receive that we often do not consider.

Blessing is defined as the act or words of a person who blesses; a favor or gift bestowed by God, thereby bringing happiness. God's favor over our lives is a blessing that open the door for joy, peace and love. When we consider the little things in life, we realize that they're our greatest treasure.

We see blessings in our lives everyday. No matter what you are going through, you can point to a blessing if you begin to look beyond your situation. Sometimes, we have to make a conscience effort to focus on the good that is around us. What blessings can you point to today? Make a list of the small things that are a blessing in your life. There is no blessing too small that you can't account for. As you reflect, you will find that although you have had some trying times, God's blessing out weights them all.

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”John 7:38

As a believer, we all have a well of living water waiting to spring up. The living water represents God's Holy Spirit. When we feel depleted, he is there to replenish and revive us again!

As you let the Holy Spirit minister to you today, experience the overflowing joy of his presence. Whatever you need to day to come to the brim in your life, speak it forth with all confidence and watch God produce an abundance in your life you wont be able to contain.

Are you ready for your OVERFLOW? Its long over due but its available to you if you desire it with all of your heart.

Pause.

In this moment and begin to thank him for what he has already provided, the well that will never run dry, no matter how you may feel, your emotions do not override the truth. The truth is, God is with you and for you. He has provided his Spirit to pour into you. Begin to adore him and worship like you are getting ready to encounter the great I AM face to face. As you worship, you WILL begin to experience the awesome presence of God.

Yes, the living water is springing up, it is coming to you right now. May it overtake you and flood your soul anew. Receive it wholeheartedly in Jesus Name!

" Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground." Psalm 143:10 NIV

In our pursuit to fulfill the will of God, let's not forget the one who enables and keeps us accountable to the calling...the Holy Spirit! God has given us the ability to go forth, but our motivation and attitude is determined by how well we listen to the prompting of his Spirit. When we lose our willingness to continue to plow or our heart is flooded with raging emotions we tend to forget that our strength is not sufficient enough to bear the weight of ministry. We need the Holy Spirit to lean on where ever we are vulnerable. God gave us Jesus as an example.

Jesus is the best motivator of all time and his attitude is impeccable. We saw how he dealt with the people and his disciples. He had the ability, motivation, the perfect attitude and the approach to accomplish what the Father had called him to do. He made the crooked way straight so that we can walk on level ground. All we have to do is follow his foot prints that he prepared for us.

If we desire to be like Christ, we must take our cues from the Holy Spirit. It's the Spirit of God that will lead and guide us into all avenues of truth and help us to follow his footsteps. This week, stay true to the call and what he is has gifted you to do. Heed his voice and watch it all come together.
