Mark 11:22 ESV

And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.”

God has given each of us a measure of faith. With it, we’ve accomplished dreams, broken barriers, made history and changed lives. Faith is not just a concept- it’s a divine force that empowers us to rise above challenges when we place our confidence in Christ, who strengthens us.

Faith is powerful. And like a muscle, it grows the more we use it. When we choose to trust God in difficult seasons, we’re actively cultivating our faith. What may start as mustard-see faith can grow into something much greater as we remain rooted and steadfast in Him.

That’s why our faith must align with our prayers and prophetic declarations. Scripture tells us to prophesy in proportion to our faith (Romans 12:6). IF we desire to see change, we can’t approach prayer with doubt or hesitation. We must believe that God is able to do exceeding and abundantly more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Let your faith be built daily by focusing on the Word, declaring His promises, and trusting Him to move— even when you don’t see the evidence manifesting. Before you know it, it will come to pass.

Reflection:

What area of your life needs stronger faith today? What step can you take to trust God more fully in that area?

Prayer of Faith:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the measure of faith You’ve placed within me. I pray that it would grow stronger as I trust You more deeply with every area of my life. Help me to align my prayers with my faith and believe godly in what You can do. Remove doubt and fear from my heart, and replace them with confident trust in Your promises. I choose to stand on Your Word and believe for the impossible. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

James 2:17 (NRSV)

"So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead."

Faith without action leads to passivity. Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. While listening to a powerful and uplifting sermon is commendable, faith remains superficial and lacks depth unless it is followed by action.

After hearing the word, there is always a call to action for the listener. At some point, we have all heard God’s word but failed to activate our faith through action. Many believers and non-believers alike practice passive faith—believing without action. Without action, complacency inevitably sets in.

The enemy rejoices when believers sit on their faith rather than putting it into practice. A passive Christian poses no threat to the kingdom of darkness. But now is the time to walk in active faith—a faith that produces results.

You are not just a hearer of the word; you are a doer. Stand firm in faith and step into what God is calling you to do. Whatever it is, He will provide the grace and passion for you to finish well.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24

Believe it or not, your steps are ordered by God. As a believer in Christ you do not have to walk alone. You have the guidance of the Holy Spirit to help you figure it out along the way. Everything will not be mapped out for you but you can rest assured knowing that you are not on this journey by yourself. It takes complete reliance on God's divine wisdom for your life for you to reap what was promised to you. But first you have to make it up in your mind that you are going to walk by faith and not by your emotions.

Well, you might be thinking - better said than done. How can I follow blindly when everything is going to the left? It’s not easy to come into agreement when you don’t know the next turn but the beauty of the matter is, you don’t need to because God does. Yet, God wants us to follow him wholeheartedly so that we can avoid getting off course. The kind of detours that will set us back because of our lack of faith. However, God knows us best and he factored in every mistake we will make along the way, the moments when we will ignore his signs or the temptations we choose to give into because the shortcut seemed promising when trying to achieve our goals sooner.

With all of that in mind, falling down is expected. You will fall, you will make mistakes, and you will try shortcuts along the way that will lead to nowhere. Don’t be disheartened. God is still with you and he will not cast you away. Apart of the walk is to grow in faith with every step taken, mistakes included.

Although you may feel tired or cast down, you are built to always get up again. God is the one that is keeping you in your time of weakness and distress. His hands are able! There is no greater hands to trust with your life, family, ministry, business or situation.
