Opposition is a Testament to Progress

So this is what you need to know! When you face opposition know that you are on the right track. Your job is to keep pursing, keep praying, keep claiming, keep trusting and keep believing.

Let God have his perfect way in you today! With every breakthrough on the brink of frution there will be opposition. It's expected, don't be shaken. God is a covenant keeping God. When oppostion comes don't be alarmed be on guard. God is in control so trust him to handle what way be coming up against you. What God has put in motion can't be stopped by any external force. Let the Spirit of God reign over you and cover you. May it keep you and give you peace.

It can Wait

Today, carve out quality time to spend with God. When was the last time you placed your plans on hold to make sure you spend some time with the Lord? We know that it takes time to build a lasting relationship. As we consider the time we put into our relationships, we can't neglect building one with our heavenly Father.

Life is full of distractions, and they tend to remove us from getting in God's presence. Too many distractions pulls us away from spending time with our Father. Here are a few tips to consider:

1. Find the right time - Whether its in the morning, mid-day or evening, find time when you know you can devote your attention to the Lord.

2. Give family & Friends a heads up - Sometimes you have to let folks know that you will be unavailable for a period of time. The majority of our distractions comes from a phone call, text, social media alerts, etc..

3. Where's your quiet place? Depending on whether you have children or not, this can be a challenge. However, if you purpose in your heart to be in the presence of the Lord, this may require you to sacrifice your time. Getting up early or going to bed after everyone else could be a viable option.

When you make a conscience effort to seek the face of the Lord and build your relationship, you will find that your time spent was worth putting everything and everyone on hold. Remember, everything else can wait. Jesus on the other hand should be our priority. Don't let distractions pull you out of his presence, remove you from your assignment or tempt you to waste your time being busy.

When you Wait

Psalm 27: 13-14

Waiting is never easy but when we consider who we are waiting on it makes a huge difference. Although we don't see or feel it, there is a blessing in our time of waiting. If we trust God, then we are telling God that whatever he decides to do or however long it takes it's worth it.

Like a dance, you must trust that your partner is leading you into every turn, dip or lift. If you pay too much attention looking at your feet because you want to get the steps right you forfeit listening and trusting the voice of your partner. Surrendering your will to God tests your reliance and ability to follow instructions when you can't find your way or know which way to move.

When we depend on God for our next step we are guaranteed a path to success. Don't create a path that leads to no where. Wait on God, don't step out of turn or on your own. Learn to let God lead...he will never step on your toes.
