You were made to weather the Storm

"We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed" 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 ESV

Weathering the storm means you are able to survive hardships and come out on the other side. As a child of God you are made to weather every storm that enters your life. Regardless of the impact it will not crush you. Some storms hit harder than others but you were made to withstand the wind and the rain of despair. God will never place you in a position to fail, he is always present to direct you. Just like a captain navigating through a storm, so will God direct you through his word.

I want you to visualize the word of God as your faithful compass and the Holy Spirit as your advisor, helping you to read the compass and showing you the path to take. If you follow the word and the leading of the Holy Spirit you will be able to conquer your storm. God wants to remind you that you were made to not just survive the storm, but you were made to overcome.
