You have Purpose

"Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails."

Proverbs 19:21

I use to hear the phrase "Life is what you make it". I agree, but it all depends who is helping you shape it. As a believer, we are unable to live the life we know we can have without the help of the Holy Spirit. Our desire to create our own path only leads us down the road to

un-fulfillment.

The further you stay on that path the more distant you will feel from God's purpose for your life. You will experience emptiness, unrest and sadness on the road to un-fulfillment. However, God is faithful and will continue to call out to us when we go down the wrong road. He draws us with his intense love and mercy.

It's never too late to tap into what God has called you to do. He's given you everything you need to get started. Some times we get discouraged along the way because we don't feel like we are measuring up or actually being effective. Yet, God measures success differently than we do. God considers our obedience, our can do attitude, commitment and reliance on him. He is ALWAYS pleased when we are doing what he has designed us to do. When the time is right, he will bring the increase, open doors of opportunity and give us expansion.

So, if you are on the wrong path, you can find your way back. All you have to do is listen to that small still voice. The Holy Spirit will redirect you the right path. It all starts with a step down the path of obedience. Each step will reveal more of God's plan and purpose for your life. It's uncomfortable at times but its necessary for growth and discovery.

When we live everyday on purpose we take nothing for granted. Life is a gift and what we do with it should leave a legacy for others to model. Ultimately, we all would love to hear; "well done thou good and faithful servant".

There is no time to waste. It is precious and we must use it wisely; bringing honor and glory to God. He gave you new life through Jesus Christ and he wants you to experience life through your salvation.
