Psalm 91:1-2 states, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
To dwell means to remain, to settle in, and to make a place our home. God invites us to dwell in His presence—not just visit occasionally but to stay, abide, and find refuge in Him. It's a beautiful place of peace and safety that we can enter without boarding a plane, getting in a car, or taking a bus or train. It is a place of replenishment, refreshment, and restoration, where we are covered and protected under His shadow.
God knows everything we are going through and the challenges we face each day. Yet, in the busyness of life, we are often pulled in so many directions that we forget to retreat into prayer. Dwelling in Him means intentionally seeking His presence, trusting in His care, and resting in His unfailing love.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for inviting me to dwell in Your presence. In the midst of life's challenges and distractions, help me to seek You first and find refuge under Your shadow. Teach me to abide in You daily, to trust in Your protection, and to rest in Your peace. May my heart always remain in the secret place with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
