Self Talk

Psalm 43:5 "Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God!..."

When King David was feeling down and out, he had to question the source of his feelings. He quickly identified the emotion and counter it with the word. Sometimes our self talk can put us in an undesirable mood. We isolate ourselves and begin to indulge in a pity party that comes to keep us stagnant.

Don't fall in the trap! God is clear about what he thinks of you. It's up to you to believe him over the lies you have been told or the lies you tell yourself. Put your hope in God and Be kind to yourself. Speaking words that will uplift your spirit will only keep your head up. Don't entertain any negativity...its sole purpose is to weigh you down.
