Heart Wounds

Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD

The word of God is able to address every heart issue. Every traumatic experience can be healed if we submit them at the cross. We don’t realize the impact of our traumatic encounters until we are triggered by something that reminds us of what we have been through.

We can identify things that were said and done that left a negative impression on us. These impressions show up in our lives and effect the way we handle people and our relationships. They birth ungodly truths in our hearts and we become bound by the pain of our negative experiences. It’s in these moments we must lay our trauma at the feet of the Jesus.

God gave us his Son so that we may receive life and be delivered from the pain that keeps us bound. Whatever area in your heart that has been shattered, God can mend those broken pieces and restore you. We have been grafted into the family of God through Jesus Christ who paved the way for our deliverance. We are joined together with Jesus who have given us access to reap all of the benefits of being a joint heir.

One of the benefits as a child of God is divine healing! By his stripes we are made whole. God wants us to be healed so that we are not trapped in our wounds but that we will be liberated to have a heart free from bondage, pain and anxiety. Today, know that you have a healer in Christ Jesus who loves and cares for you. Open up your heart to God so he can heal you in the areas that you need it the most. Watch him transform your life and bring total healing to your soul.
