Walk out by Faith

2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV For we walk by faith, not by sight

We are all hoping for a lot of things. Some are hoping to end social injustice, others want to say so long to COVID-19 and everybody is ready to say good bye to 2020. The country is in turmoil, the economy is a mess and families are hurting. Yet, in all of this our faith is what is going to get us through this difficult time. Our faith is not contingent on what we see but it relies on what we are believing God to do through his word.

The truth is, we are all afraid of the unknown. We want to anticipate and know what is going to happen next. Yet, God in all of his wisdom doesn’t always reveal his plans. The expectation is to trust him even when it doesn’t make sense or whether you see no possible resolve.

We cannot approach our situation without faith. When we do, we come out defeated and discouraged. Our faith in God is being tested and our response must stay consistent. God wants us to look pass what we see and cling to the promises of his word. He honors his WORD above his name and he will come through for you.

This is a challenging year but you are still here. Press into your faith when the road gets rough, when the storm is raging and when the hill seems impossible to climb. Decree and declare to yourself…I will walk out of THIS! If you declare that today, I believe that your faith just made room for God to move in your situation.
