1 Cor 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding (excelling) in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Col 2:6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
There is no secret that this year took everyone by surprise. We never thought that what we would see in the movies become our current reality. Our lives were dramatically altered to adjust to our new way of life. During this time we have seen the glass half empty and half full. There are times of sorrow and grief and other times we experience new found love and stronger relationships. However, we all can agree that this experience exposed our confidence and faith in the Lord.
We will never grasp why this happened but we know that through it all we can still trust God for his continuous love, peace, and protection. Throughout the ages, we have always made it out of life changing events that made humanity stronger. God wants to declare to you today that you will come out of this stronger!
The Lord desires us to trust him and be steadfast. He is building our faith and renewing our confidence so that we can stand in the face of uncertainty while embracing God's plan for our lives. Therefore, while your faith is being rooted don't stop working. Your work is not in vain! Keep moving forward! Whatever God has called you to do, then do it. Be steadfast in the works of the Lord and be determined to see it through!
